Aree was born and raised in the Philippines. She comes from a family of artists and lawyers. At one point she has considered taking up law, with the encouragement of her late-grandfather who was an attorney but, decided to pursue her first love – food. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Management, and a Diploma in Culinary Arts from O.B. Montessori College, in Greenhills, Philippines; and graduated with honors. Competitive and creative by nature, she has worked as a chef in various 5-star restaurants and hotels in the Philippines then, decided to specialize in Pastry Arts and Cake Artistry for more than 8 years.
As fate would allow it, her journey brought her to America, and she ended up working as a paralegal in MC LAW GROUP, LLC. Aree has an undying passion for learning, and helping people. She works on asylum cases, FOIAs, N-400s, and Adjustment of Status, to name a few.
She enjoys sharing her baked goods with her coworkers. Aree loves art, music, food, and her family. She is fluent in English and Tagalog; has a working knowledge of the Spanish language, and basic German.
