Paralegal
Alina is a first-generation Costa Rican-American, born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. After high school, she attended DeSales University. There, she received a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. She then continued her educational career, enrolling in a 5-year Master’s in Criminal Justice program where she focused on Investigative Forensics.
After college, Alina moved back to Philadelphia with goals to combine her passion of helping people and wanting to work within the criminal justice system. Because she has always had a personal interest and connection with immigration, she became interested in working with MC Law Group as a paralegal. Here, she is learning a lot about the legal system and how much immigration work impacts our everyday lives. She is excited to continue working with us and expand her experience in the legal system.
As a child, Alina was into professional dancing, and it is still her passion. On her down-time, she loves to go out dancing with family and friends. Alina also loves to read mystery and criminal justice books.
